High-abrasion zones like the shoulders and crotch feature an outer lining of highly textured 230g/sqm Nylon 6.6 (Cordura-type), providing enhanced abrasion resistance while preserving flexibility. In the most heavily stressed areas, such as the knees and rear, an extra layer of this abrasion-resistant Nylon 6.6 is applied over the base fabric, prioritizing maximum durability where flexibility is less critical. This strategic fabric layering ensures long-lasting protection tailored to specific stress points without compromising overall comfort.
The MARES XR PLANA DRYSUIT is equipped with two spacious cargo pockets designed for practicality and organization. Each pocket features two separate compartments to keep essential gear neatly arranged. Four silver bungee cords of varying lengths provide secure attachment points for accessories. Metal eyelets at the pocket bases ensure effective drainage, while reinforced piping on the closure flaps enhances grip, even when wearing gloves.
