The new digital focal multiplier doubles the focal range of the 4x optical zoom, enabling an 8x zoom. The anti-reflective (AR) coating on the sensor glass now reduces ghosting and flare while the TruePic VIII processor, borrowed from the professional OM-D E-M1X model, helps reduce noise levels and improves resolution in contrast-limited areas. The ability to store RAW data provides all TG-6 users with versatile editing opportunities using Olympus Workspace or other image processing software that can handle TG-6 RAW files.
